First Time Massage Clients - What to Expect
First time massage therapy clients will be given a health history and consent form to fill out prior to their massage appointment, and are requested to bring the completed forms with them to their massage on The Eco Massage Trailer. We recommend a minimum 30 minute massage session for first time clients to allow adequate time to address specific areas of concern and restore an overall sense of wellbeing.

Mind – Massage Therapy reduces stress, provides a relaxed state of alertness and enhances ones capacity for clear thinking and creativity.
Body – Massage Therapy stretches and loosens muscles, improves blood and lymph flow to facilitate the removal of metabolic wastes resulting from exercise or inactivity, and increases the flow of oxygen and nutrients to cells and tissue. Massage also stimulates the release of endorphins, the bodies’ natural painkillers.
Spirit – Massage Therapy satisfies the human need for caring and nurturing touch, reduces anxiety levels and creates a feeling of wellbeing.

Chair or Table Massage?
Table Massage
The massage table is the most effective tool for therapeutic massage, as it allows direct access to the tissue and muscles being treated by the practitioner. Organic, skin-nourishing oils/lotions are used by our Registered Massage Therapists, in combination with deep tissue and Swedish massage therapy techniques, to treat your specific areas of concern. The client remains covered by a sheet at all times; special draping techniques will reveal only the area being worked on. Our massages leave clients feeling relaxed, revitalized and ready to return to work.
Minimum ½ hour treatment required – 1.5 hours maximum.
Chair Massage
Chair massage is designed for those who are unable to lie on a table; prefer a shorter session; have time constraints; or simply prefer to be treated clothed without oil/lotion. The client sits forward into a cushioned massage chair especially designed for comfort and support. To adjust for special needs, (i.e. pregnancy), position may be reversed and the client may sit back in the chair. Most commonly, the seated chair massage covers the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands; however, it can be adapted to meet special needs (i.e., legs and feet). Our massages leave clients feeling relaxed, revitalized and ready to return to work.
Payment
Our employee wellness massages are available in various payment options, tailored to your needs:
Company-sponsored: The company pays 100%.
Co-pay: The company and individual employees split the cost.
Employee Pays: Employee pays at the time of treatment and receives an official receipt to submit to their Extended Health Plan for reimbursement.
